Fascial Manipulation
Dr. Matt Teigen, DC utilizes Stecco's Fascial Manipulation when creating a personalized improvement plan for clients. This advanced technique, developed in Italy, focuses on the fascia — the connective tissue that surrounds every muscle, bone, nerve, and organ in your body.
Injuries acquired during our youth, whether through our own actions or otherwise, can have a lasting impact on our physical fitness, potentially leading to complications and unexpected aches as we age. At Mile High Sports Chiropractic, our mission is to provide you with the knowledge and understanding necessary to navigate the intricate relationship between past injuries and your current health.
We are here to empower you with the facts and solutions you need to address these issues effectively and live a pain-free active lifestyle. Our advanced techniques out of Italy are employed to reduce pain, increase range-of-motion, and release tension.
This allows us to significantly reduce or eliminate pain from a primary complaint in much fewer visits, and often permanently. Understanding how pain and dysfunction is presented allows for our patients to achieve amazing results in significantly fewer visits.
How Fascial Manipulation Works
Fascia is a continuous network of connective tissue that covers and connects all structures in the body. When fascia becomes restricted due to injury, overuse, or chronic stress, it can cause pain and limit movement in areas that seem unrelated to the original injury.
Through careful assessment and targeted manual therapy, Dr. Matt identifies specific fascial points of dysfunction and works to release them, restoring normal movement patterns and reducing pain at the source.
